Using ancient wisdom and the latest discoveries in neuroscience and quantum physics, RSE teaches students how to access the extraordinary abilities of the brain to "Become a Remarkable Life®." RSE facilitates live events and streaming over the Internet in many languages.
JZ Knight began publically channeling Ramtha in 1979. RSE was established in 1988 in Yelm, Washington. More than 100,000 people from around the world have attended Ramtha's events.
RSE's unique, innovative approach combines many threads of contemporary scientific research to support the principle that God lives within each of us. The message that you are divine means that you have a direct experience with God, a direct channel. You do not need priests or missionaries to intervene on your behalf to deter you from a direct communion with God.
The Campus
The campus sits on 80 acres of pastoral, lush grounds and towering evergreens in Yelm, Washington, and is as beautiful and unique as its teacher, Ramtha the Enlightened One. Great cedar and fir trees grace the grounds, and a sense of timelessness prevails. Yet even in this peaceful, natural setting, it quickly becomes clear to the students that the school is unique. The teachings do not take place in a hotel or conference center with comfortable chairs. Most events are conducted in the Great Hall, which can accommodate up to 1,000 students.
Ramtha
Ramtha is the Master Teacher at the school. He lived as a human being on Earth 35,000 years ago. He explains that in his lifetime he addressed the questions about human existence and the meaning of life, and that through his own observation, reflection, and contemplation he became enlightened and conquered the physical world and death. His philosophy reflects the experience of his own life. His teachings emphasize that each individual is responsible for their own reality, that your attitudes affect your life, and that you can change your life by changing the way you think. The form in which Ramtha communicates his teachings is through the phenomenon called channeling. He channels through the body of JZ Knight to teach his philosophy in person.
"The tenet of this school is based upon God's direct revelation with you. That has always been overlooked. Yet the training of this school is not through baptism and conscription. It is a volunteer school which is created to peel away layers of incarnation and lives that cover up this direct revelation. It is about peeling back and laying bare what you are.
At the heart of this school is the concept 'Behold God.' Why? Because you don't know it. You only know it because I said it. You don't know it even when reportedly Yeshua ben Joseph said it. Just because he said it doesn't make it so for you. Within the statement itself is the empowering will of choice even to disregard, even to disbelieve, even to doubt. That is it. It is all that simple. The school is to take a neophyte and begin to train you in the art of the mind, which encompasses an enormous amount of knowledge that you barely can repeat, along with experience of that knowledge."

JZ Knight
JZ Knight is the unique channel of Ramtha and author of the best-selling autobiography, A State of Mind, My Story. Historians and religious experts who have studied her life's work call JZ Knight the Great American Channel and recognize her as one of the most charismatic and compelling spiritual leaders of the modern age. JZ Knight is the only channel through whom Ramtha has chosen to deliver his message. She and Ramtha have inspired audiences worldwide for the last three decades, bridging ancient wisdom and the power of consciousness together with the latest discoveries in science. JZ Knight has appeared on national American TV shows, including The Larry King Show five times.
Research
Gordon Melton and other religious scholars have identified RSE as a reemergence of ancient Gnosticism and one of a number of new religious movements. "Having spent all my adult life observing spiritual organizations and metaphysical instructional centers, I saw in Ramtha's school a relatively new and unique offering, not only an alternative to older, more familiar forms of spirituality but also a decided challenge to New Age aspirations," Melton said.
In 1996, a team of researchers comprised of top neuroscientists, psychologists, sociologists, and religious experts conducted an eighteen-month research project on JZ Knight, Ramtha, and the students of the school. They conducted physiological tests on JZ Knight before, during, and after channeling Ramtha. The readings taken from JZ Knight's autonomic nervous system responses were so dramatic that they categorically ruled out any possibility of conscious fakery, schizophrenia, or multiple personality disorder. The conference proceedings, In Search of the Self: The Role of Consciousness in the Construction of Reality, are available on DVD.
"The results of the physiological tests showed that when Knight is channeling Ramtha, her muscle tension, pulse, and galvanic skin response increase while skin temperature and blood volume both decrease. Wickramasekera affirmed that Knight could not have voluntarily changed or faked all eight of these results."
