What is the male/female ratio?

There is a misconception in the press, largely due to unavailable statistics and a preponderance of women in the early years of the teachings, that well-educated women who had left successful careers in search of spiritual fulfillment typify the student body. This is not true. The current student body is 40% male/60% female. Additionally, a recent demographic survey by Sociologist Constance Jones reports that only a very small minority of students could be considered a "spiritual seeker."
