General Information
RSE is offering Wi-Fi Internet Service at all Events unless otherwise stated on the Event Registration Page. There will be a limited number of Wi-Fi Sign-Ups available due to Space and current Bandwidth availability, and is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.Event participants may register and pay for the Wi-Fi Service via the Events page on ramtha.com the same way you register for an event online (Go to the Event option you desire & enroll there). If the Wi-Fi Service is still available during door registration times for the Event, you may pay for the Service at the registration window when you get banded.
Type of Service
The Wi-Fi Internet Service will support Type B, Type G, and Type N Wi-Fi Devices and will be installed in the Cantina. The signal could be available in usable signal strength outside the Cantina within a limited range.- There will be limited seating available in the Cantina for Internet Only use, this seating area will have A/C Power available for your Wi-Fi Device.
- There will be limited shelf space available for charging your Wi-Fi Device between breaks; it is your responsibility to provide a security method for your device.
- RSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR EQUIPMENT IS LOST OR STOLEN, OR FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR EQUIPMENT.
Wi-Fi Security
Security will be configured using the MAC Address (MAC = Media Access Control) of your Device with 1 MAC Address for a Windows, Apple, or Linux based Laptop and 1 for a Cell Phone or similar Wi-Fi Enabled Device allowed per Paid Service.Cost of Service
The cost for the Wi-Fi Internet Service during each Event will have a fixed price determined by the length of the event. There are no daily rates or discounts. Everything must be paid for in advance for the entire event.Cancellation Policy
Refunds for the Wi-Fi Internet Service are permitted up to the event start time. To receive a refund, you must cancel your Wi-Fi Service prior to the start of the event. There are NO REFUNDS made after the event start time or if you leave the event early.When You Arrive at the Yelm Campus
- When you are banded for the event you will receive a Receipt showing your payment for the Wi-Fi Internet Service.
- Bring your Receipt and your Laptop/Wi-Fi Device to the Photo ID Room so the MAC Address of your device can be added to the Allow List for Internet Access.
- If you already know how to obtain the MAC Address of your Wi-Fi Device you can just bring that information to the Photo ID Room.
- IF YOU ARE ADDING 2 WI-FI DEVICES TO THE SERVICE YOU MUST BRING BOTH DEVICES TO THE PHOTO ID ROOM TO VERIFY THEY QUALIFY AS SPECIFIED ABOVE.
Conditions for Use of the Wi-Fi Internet Service
- YOU AGREE NOT TO SHARE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT.
- You agree not to visit websites considered unsafe or containing content that might be observed by others as inappropriate in a public setting.
- You agree not to send spam email.
- You agree not to download content or media from non-licensed sources.
- You agree not to run electrical cords to your Wi-Fi Device from locations other than the assigned internet seating or charging areas.
- You are responsible for keeping the internet seating area clean.
- NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE INTERNET AREA.
- You are responsible for limiting your time at the internet seating area to 30 min if there are other users waiting.
- You are responsible for removing your Wi-Fi Device and related items from the internet seating area after breaks are over or you have completed your usage.
- If you are found in violation of these conditions, RSE may cancel your Wi-Fi Service, remove you from the event and may also prohibit you from returning to future events.

Q. What if I arrive late for the event and want to pay for the Wi-Fi Service?
A. You can register late for the Wi-Fi Service, however the price is set for the entire event, there are no discounts due to late arrival and registration. Your Wi-Fi Device(s) will be enabled for the internet service at the following meal break.
Q. Can I leave my Wi-Fi Device in the internet seating area to charge between breaks?
A. No, you can leave your Wi-Fi Device in the designated charging area at your own risk.
Q. If I have an emergency and need internet access can I pay for just 1 day?
A. No, you can't. Internet Service is reserved for those that paid for the entire event. If you have an emergency check with the Green Lead on duty; to inquire about leaving the event for a short time as with any other personal need or emergency.
